GDPR specifics
What personal data is kept: If you have simply purchased Belief Alchemist the only data we keep is your name and email address. If you have purchased one to one coaching sessions, your session notes are also kept for a period of time.
Where your personal data is stored: Your name and email are stored on a password protected word document on a password protected computer. Coaching session notes are kept in a secure filing cabinet in a locked office.
How your personal data was gained: You name and e-mail address were obtained either as a result of purchasing one to one coaching, or as a result of purchasing Belief Alchemist.
Who has access to your personal data: Only Maria J McMahon has access to your data.
How your personal data is used: Your name and e-mail address may be used (with your permission) to inform you of future products or events that may be of interest to you. If you have purchased one to one coaching your session notes are confidential and will only be used to inform future coaching sessions. They will not be used in any other way, or shown to a third party unless there is a risk of harm either to the client or to other parties
How long your personal data is stored: Names and email addresses obtained as a result of purchasing Belief Alchemist only are stored until or unless a request is made to delete them. Should that request be made the data will be delated as soon as possible from the time the request is received. Data obtained as a result of one to one coaching sessions is kept for a minimum of 8 years in accordance with our need to maintain the possibility of access to client data as a result of returning clients or those who may wish to lodge a complaint in respect of our professional services to either our professional body or our insurers (i.e. in all cases perhaps after a long period of time has elapsed), we retain client data for a minimum period of 8 years from the date of the client’s last session.
Privacy: Individual client data will never be passed to a third party without the express consent of the respective client, always provided that such confidentiality is neither inconsistent with the therapist’s own safety or that of the client, the client’s family members or other members of the public, nor in contravention of any legal action or legal requirement.
Our Lawful Bases For Processing Client Personal Data:
Processing of client personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the client is party or in order to take steps at the request of the client prior to entering into a contract. Further, the processing of the special category of personal data is necessary for the provision of healthcare.
Your Rights And Your Personal Data :
Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- The right to request a copy of the personal data Maria J McMahon holds about you;
- The right to request that Maria J McMahon corrects any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
- The right to request your personal data is erased where it is no longer necessary for Maria J McMahon to retain such data;
- The right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time;
